4. DMCA Contact

You can send a takedown request by clicking the Report button under sound posts, or open the dropdown through the 3 dots on the bottom right and click the report button for particular sounds. Alternatively, you can also use Email (Check below) or our Contact page.

5. Takedown Process

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, Sound Effect Pro will:

• Review the complaint for completeness
• Remove or disable access to the reported content
• Notify the user who uploaded the content
• Record the incident for repeat-infringer tracking

We act promptly but do not guarantee specific timelines.

6. Counter-Notification Process

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a Counter-Notification.

Your counter-notice must include:

• Identification of the removed content and its previous location
• Your full legal name and contact information
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed due to error or misidentification
• Consent to jurisdiction of the appropriate courts
• Your electronic signature

Counter-Notice Statement Example

“I consent to the jurisdiction of the courts and state that I will accept service of process from the person who submitted the DMCA complaint or their agent.”

Send counter-notices to the same DMCA email address listed below.

If a valid counter-notice is received, we may restore the content unless the original complainant files a legal action within the legally required timeframe.

7. Repeat Infringer Policy

Sound Effect Pro maintains a zero-tolerance policy for repeat copyright infringement.

We may:

• Remove uploaded content
• Suspend accounts
• Permanently terminate repeat infringers

This action may occur without prior notice.
